(for Lenard D. Moore)
In those digital domains
worry did reign.
Labor's guilty light
gave summer day
to wintry sagas:
sentences strung in cursive,
the art work of hands
ennobling undocumented dirt,
tired feet, and weary
hearts.
Often, eyes contrite
in pain await
poetic blessings
for the mechanical brain.
